Pinot Noir 2004 Chads Creek Estate is a Boutique winery on a small plantation that prides itself on producing high quality wine from hand-picked grapes and cane-pruned vines. This 2004 Pinot Noir exhibits rich, ripe forest fruit flavours, delicately balanced acidity and a silky tannin finish. Slightly perfumed French oak, complements subtle blackcurrant flavours and elegant floral notes. This wine has great depth and length and will satisfy those who prefer a medium-bodied Pinot Noir. The Region Strathewen is located in the Yarra Valley region, at the foothills of Kinglake National Park. It is set in tranquil, picturesque surroundings overlooking the spectacular Sugarloaf Mountain. Nestled in a secluded sanctuary with breathtaking views, the property boasts richness in native flora and fauna. At harvest time, it is common for the early morning mist to drift over Sugarloaf Mountain and in the evenings, enchanting sunsets shimmer across the awe-inspiring plantation of vines. Surrounded by white gum trees and several acres of old lemon trees, the once thriving peach orchard, has enriched soils, enabling the creation of more intense flavours.
